Papa Jack

· Would you consider them as legitimate celebrities? Why?

- Yes. A lot of people are tuning in every night just to listen to him and they follow his advices when it comes to love.

· What do you think makes them click to their audience, particularly in your age group?

- He goes to the same level as everyone else when it comes to listening to their problems and the advices he gives are easy to understand immediately.

Local VS Foreign

1. Which do you prefer—LOCAL FILIPINO or FOREIGN …
a. Brands - fashion both local and foreign
b. Music - foreign
c. TV programs/ shows/ movies - foreign

2. Why local, why foreign?

- for fashion, I patronize both local and foreign. It depends on the style and design that I like.

- for music, I like foreign. The tempo, melody and lyrics are fun to listen too, they always come up with new sounds, unlike local it has become redundant.

- for TV / Movie - definitely foreign. The story lines are more creative and diverse.

3. What is Pinoy Pride? What is the state of ‘Pinoy Pride’ nowadays, in your opinion?

- it is currently well appreciated internationally, especially the performance of Manny Pacquiao and other celebrities that are getting popular due to their outstanding contribution to society.

What's New for Summer?

1. What new products did you try during this summer? What made you try them? What about them caught your eye?

- Cold drinks / desserts from stores I don't usually go to like Red Mango, Bo's Coffee, Crepes, Haagen Dazs, etc. I wanted to try new things other than the usual ones I buy.

2. What TV commercials caught your eye during this summer? Describe briefly. What did you like about them? How did they make you feel?

- RC Cola. I love the flow of the commercial, the way the camera followed the people, the theme and capturing natural feel of Filipino customs.

My Summer Shopping List

What are your must-haves (any product)? What about them that caught your eye?

1. Lotion (UV protection) Nivea - love to stay outdoors during summer so I need protection to prevent having skin diseases. The brand is very soothing, it doesn't feel sticky no matter how much I put.

2. Loose, light colored, creative shirts (any brand) - it's hot during summer I need it to be comfortable

3. As well as shorts, preferably checkered patterns (any brand) - it's fashionable

4. Pony tails or clumps (Quiapo accessories) - my hair is long and curly, I need it elevated. They are useful and longer lasting.

5. Wedge rubber slippers (Bench) - it's really comfortable when you wear it.

6. Water proof bags (dept. store) - So when I put near water, it won't get wet.

7. Umbrella - having a lotion is not enough sometimes, especially you have a long way to walk.

8. Shades - I can't bear to open my eyes when the sun is high. So wearing this is helpful

9. Fan - the air in a room sometimes doesn't have enough cool breeze to it, it's handy to have this with you, especially in closed, small spaces.

10. Any cold drink, especially Mocha Frappuccino from Starbucks - can clench your thirst!

My Summer Experience

What are my summer plans, activities and destinations?

- Well, so far I've only been to Baguio with my family (only 5 of us) just avoid the heat and buy some fruits and vegetables. We stayed there for 3 days and went to a lot of tourist spots (Camp John Hay, Butterfly Sanctuary, Mines View, Groto, Baguio City Market, Baguio Cathedral, etc.)
- I don't if just swimming with friends in the club house can be considered as a "big" summer plan but I enjoyed very much

What are your considerations when planning for a summer getaway? With whom do you plan to do these with?

- When planning a summer getaway I consider first the budget I can spend then find a place that has a beach and if possible with a swimming pool near it. I always go with my family and their friends' families or just my friends.

What are the highs and lows of your summer experience?

- Most of my summer experiences are very good but there was one particular time when the person who had reserved a place but wasn't able to when we got there and did not compensate for it during our stay. So it was really bad. I don't want to state the exact experience and person cause it was in the past and I've forgiven him/her for that.
